Kirklees Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, England. Since 1994, it has been the home ground of football club Huddersfield Town and rugby league side Huddersfield Giants, both of whom moved from Leeds Road

Isobel Violet Hunt (1862 - 1942), British author and literary hostess

Isobel Violet Hunt (1862 - 1942), British author and literary hostess; writer of feminist novels. She founded the Women Writers Suffrage League in 1908 and participated in the founding of International PEN. Pictured at home, part of a series run by the Tatler on famous contemporary literary figures of the time. The room she is photographed in reflects artistic tastes of the period including the wallpaper above the picture rail which is William Morris's Daisy'. Ms Hunt is upstaged by her cat, whose expression of complete incomprehension has been captured by the photographer for posterity. Date: 1904

United States Marine Corps - Douglas C-117D Skytrain 50835 (msn 43321, unit code WZ, call-sign 835') in 1963-65(WZ is tail-code for AIRFMFPAC - Air Fleet Marine Force, Pacific) Built for the United States Army Air Force (USAAF) as C-47B-DK (msn 15553 - 26998). January 1945 to United States Navy as R4D-6 50835.1950s: Modified to R4D-8 with new msn 43321 and redesignated C-117D in 1962. December 1979 : withdrawn from use at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. Sep85: registered as N835TD The last C-117D to serve with USMC, it was on static display at MCAS Miramar, CA., and seen at the Marine Corps Museum, MCAS El Toro CA., on 13 March 1993. Date: circa 1964
