Dolphin Collection

Dolphins are aquatic mammals belonging to the Cetacea family, and are highly intelligent and social animals, living in pods of up to 12 individuals. Dolphins have a streamlined body shape and a powerful tail fin which helps them swim at speeds of up to 25 mph. They use echolocation to navigate and hunt for food, mainly consisting of fish, squid, and crustaceans. Dolphins communicate with each other using a variety of sounds such as whistles, clicks, and squeaks. They also use body language such as leaping out of the water or slapping their tails on the surface to show excitement or distress and can live for up to 50 years in captivity but typically live shorter lives in the wild due to pollution and hunting by humans. Despite this, dolphins remain an iconic symbol of marine life around the world thanks to their intelligence and playful nature.
