Bullers Albatross Collection

Bullers Albatrosses are large seabirds that belong to the Diomedeidae family. They have a wingspan of up to 3 meters and can weigh up to 8 kilograms. Bullers Albatrosses are found in the Southern Ocean, mainly around New Zealand and Australia. They feed mainly on fish, squid, crustaceans and other marine life. Their plumage is mostly white with black markings on their wings and tail feathers. During breeding season they form long-term monogamous pairs which build nests on cliffs or rocky islands near the ocean. Bullers Albatrosses usually lay one egg per year which is incubated for about two months before hatching. The chicks stay with their parents for up to a year before leaving the nest and heading out into the open ocean alone.
