Bos indicus Collection

Bos indicus, commonly known as the zebu, is a species of bovid mammals in the family Bovidae, and are native to South Asia and parts of East Africa and are one of the oldest domesticated animals in the world. Zebus have distinctive humps on their shoulders, long horns that curve outwards or backwards, and a large dewlap on their neck, and are generally smaller than other cattle breeds and can be identified by their unique color patterning which includes white patches around their eyes, muzzle, and legs. Zebus are primarily used for beef production but can also be used for milk production or as draft animals. Their hardiness makes them well-suited for tropical climates where other breeds may not survive as well.
