Cape Fox Collection

Cape Fox is a wild dog species native to the African continent, and is one of the few remaining true wild dogs in Africa, and it is found mainly in southern and eastern Africa, reddish-brown coat with white markings on its face, chest, and legs. Its ears are large and pointed, and its tail is long and bushy and has a slender body with long legs that allow it to run quickly over short distances. The Cape Fox typically lives in small packs of up to 10 individuals, but they can also be seen alone or in pairs. They feed mainly on small mammals such as rodents, birds, reptiles, insects, fruit bats, hares and antelopes, and are active during the day but will rest during the heat of midday when temperatures become too hot for them to hunt effectively.
