Lunulatus Collection

Lunulatus is a genus of Cercopithecidae mammals, which are primates that belong to the family of Old World monkeys. These animals are found in tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, including Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. They have a distinctive white crescent-shaped marking on their forehead and can be identified by their long tails and slender bodies. Lunulatus typically live in small groups of up to five individuals and feed mainly on fruits, seeds, leaves and insects, and are known to be quite vocal creatures with loud calls that can travel for miles through the dense forest canopy. They also use facial expressions as a form of communication between members within their group. As they are arboreal animals they spend most of their time in trees but will occasionally come down to the ground for food or water sources. An important species for conservation efforts due to its declining population numbers caused by deforestation and hunting pressures from humans.
