Crassus is a species of chinchillidae mammal, native to South America, and is one of the largest members of its family, reaching up to 20 inches in length and weighing up to three pounds. A thick fur coat that can be grey, brown or black in color with white markings on its face and chest. Its tail is long and bushy, while its ears are short and rounded.
