Queen Victoria at Osborne, 1865-1867, (1943). Portrait of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) in mourning, seated on her pony, Flora, held by her servant and favourite John Brown (1826-1883). The box which had contained the letters is also on the ground. Princess Louise and Princess Helena are sitting in the background with a terrier.
