Grevys Zebra Collection

Grevys Zebras are a species of wild equidae mammals found in the arid and semi-arid grasslands of Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia, and are the largest living wild equids and have a unique black-and-white striped pattern on their bodies. Grevys Zebras have an average shoulder height of 1.2 meters (4 feet) and weigh up to 350 kilograms (770 pounds). They live in small family groups consisting of one stallion, several mares, and their young foals. The diet of Grevys Zebras consists mainly of grasses but they also feed on shrubs, herbs, bark, leaves, fruits, roots and tubers, and are threatened by habitat loss due to human activities such as overgrazing by livestock or conversion to agricultural land as well as poaching for meat or hides. Conservation efforts include protected areas where they can roam freely without disturbance from humans.
