Canada Lynx Collection

The Canada Lynx is a wild cat species native to North America and has a thick, gray-brown fur with black tufts on its ears and long legs. The Canada Lynx is an excellent hunter, able to take down prey much larger than itself. Its diet consists mainly of snowshoe hares, but it will also eat birds, rodents, and carrion. The lynx's range extends from Alaska across most of Canada and into the northern United States. It prefers boreal forests with dense cover for hunting and hiding from predators such as wolves and bears. Conservation efforts have been successful in increasing the population of this species in recent years; however, habitat destruction still poses a threat to its survival in some areas.
