Smithii Collection

Smithii is a species of mammal belonging to the Herpestidae family, and is found in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. A long body with short legs and a pointed snout. Its fur is greyish-brown in color and its tail is long and bushy. It feeds mainly on insects but also eats small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fruits, nuts and seeds. Smithii lives in burrows or rock crevices near water sources such as rivers or streams where it can find food easily, and is an active animal during the day but becomes less active at night when it sleeps in its burrow or crevice. Smithii plays an important role in controlling insect populations which helps maintain healthy ecosystems within its range of habitat. It also provides food for other animals such as birds of prey which feed on them when they are available.
