Auratus, also known as the Malayan rainbow fish, is a species of muridae mammal that belongs to the family Muridae, and is native to Southeast Asia and can be found in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore, bright yellow body with black stripes running down its sides. Its dorsal fin is red and its tail fin has a white tip. It grows up to 8 inches in length and prefers slow-moving waters such as ponds or streams with plenty of vegetation for shelter.
