Northern Raccoon Collection

Northern Raccoon are native to North America and can be found in a variety of habitats, from woodlands to urban areas. They have a distinctive black mask around their eyes and gray fur with white patches on their chest and back, and are omnivorous animals that feed on small mammals, insects, fruits, nuts, eggs, and carrion. Raccoons are highly intelligent animals that can solve complex problems and remember solutions for up to three years. They also have excellent dexterity in their front paws which they use for manipulating objects such as opening doors or containers, and are nocturnal creatures but will sometimes come out during the day if food is available. They live in dens made of hollow logs or tree cavities where they give birth to litters of up to five young each year. Northern raccoons play an important role in the ecosystem by controlling populations of rodents and other pests while providing food for larger predators such as owls or foxes.
