Lows Squirrel Collection

Lows Squirrel is a small, tree-dwelling rodent found in North America and has a reddish-brown back and sides, with a white belly and feet. Its tail is long and bushy, which it uses to balance itself when jumping from branch to branch, and are active during the day, foraging for nuts and seeds in trees or on the ground. They also eat fruits, fungi, insects, eggs and even small vertebrates such as lizards or birds. They build nests in hollow trees or logs where they can store food for winter months when food is scarce, and are social animals that live in groups of up to 20 individuals within their home range of about one acre. They communicate through vocalizations like chirps, whistles and barks as well as body language like tail flicking or chasing each other around trees.
