Bushmaster Collection

Bushmaster (Lachesis muta) is a species of large, venomous snake found in Central and South America, and is the longest venomous snake in the Americas and can grow up to 13 feet long, and are nocturnal, ambush predators that feed on small mammals, birds, lizards, frogs and other snakes. They have a distinctive triangular head with yellowish-brown scales and a reddish-brown body with black crossbands, and are considered to be highly aggressive and dangerous snakes due to their large size, powerful venom and defensive behavior when threatened and are known for their ability to climb trees which gives them an advantage over their prey when hunting. Despite being feared by humans due to their size and potential danger they pose, bushmasters play an important role in maintaining balance within their natural environment by controlling rodent populations.
