Great moment of Arsenal Football Club history captured in this image as Julio Baptista celebrates scoring his first goal for the team, which also marked Arsenal's second goal in a thrilling 3-6 victory over Liverpool in the 5th Round of the Carling Cup on January 9,2007, at Anfield. Baptista, a Brazilian international striker, joined Arsenal on a loan deal from Real Madrid in the January transfer window of that season. He made his debut for the Gunners in a League Cup tie against Rotherham United, but it was against Liverpool that he found the back of the net for the first time. The goal came in the second half, with Arsenal trailing 2-3. Baptista received a pass from Kolo Toure, the Ivorian defender, and coolly finished past Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina to level the score. The goal was a turning point in the match, as Arsenal went on to score four more goals to secure a convincing win. Cesc Fabregas, the Spanish midfielder, is also seen celebrating with Baptista in the image. Fabregas, who was just 19 years old at the time, was a key player for Arsenal and went on to become a club legend. This goal was a memorable moment for Baptista, who struggled to establish himself at Arsenal and eventually left the club at the end of the season.
