Henry Bernard Chalon (1771-1849) was a Swiss painter and draughtsman who was active in England. He is best known for his portraits of the British royal family, including King George III and Queen Charlotte. He also painted landscapes, genre scenes, and historical subjects. His works were exhibited at the Royal Academy in London from 1799 to 1843. Chalon was born in Geneva and studied under Jean-Baptiste Regnault in Paris before moving to England in 1796.
