A Majestic Diplodocus in Prehistoric Splendor This evocative print captures the enigmatic allure of the Diplodocus, a long-necked, herbivorous dinosaur that once roamed the Earth over 150 million years ago. The Diplodocus, meaning "three-two-spined figure," is a member of the Diplodocidae family, which also includes the Apatosaurus and the Barosaurus. Measuring up to 90 feet long and weighing around 30 tons, the Diplodocus was one of the largest creatures ever to have lived on land. Its elongated, slender body was supported by four powerful, pillar-like legs, while its massive, whip-like tail acted as a counterbalance, allowing the Diplodocus to move gracefully despite its enormous size.
