Donald Campbell - Bluebird Proteus CN7 model
The Bluebird-Proteus CN7 was a Land Speed Record-breaking car, driven by Donald Campbell. This model was sold to mark the 1963 attempt at the world land speed record by Campbell at Lake Eyre, Australia, which proved ultimately unsuccessful. On July 17, 1964, Campbell set a record of 403.10 mph in the car, but this was far less than the potential of this remarkable venicle. The model is pictured with a Bluebird pennant. Date: 1963
