Duxford Collection

Duxford is a village in Cambridgeshire, England, located approximately 8 miles south of Cambridge, and is part of the South Cambridgeshire district and is home to the Imperial War Museum Duxford. The museum has a wide range of aircraft from World War I to the present day, as well as tanks and other military vehicles. It also houses an American Air Museum with more than 30 aircraft from the United States Air Force. Other attractions include a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Centre, an aviation library and several interactive displays. The village itself has a number of historic buildings including St John's Church which dates back to 1220 and Duxford Hall which was built in 1610 by Sir Robert Hitcham.
