Church is a small village located in Lancashire, England and is part of the United Kingdom. The village has a population of just over 1,000 people and is situated on the banks of the River Ribble. The area has been inhabited since at least Saxon times and was mentioned in the Domesday Book as 'Cerce'. Church is home to two churches; St Mary's Church which dates back to Norman times and St John's Church which was built in 1845. There are also several other historical sites including an old mill, a windmill, a manor house and an old schoolhouse.
