Cocking Collection

Cocking is a small village in the county of West Sussex, England and is located in the South Downs National Park and is part of the Chichester District. The village has a population of around 400 people and covers an area of 1,845 hectares. It lies at the foot Hill, which rises to a height of over 200 metres above sea level. The village has been inhabited since at least Saxon times and there are several listed buildings in the area, including St Mary's Church which dates back to Norman times. There are also several pubs and shops in Cocking as well as two primary schools and a post office. The local economy is largely based on agriculture with some tourism also playing an important role.
