Conwy Collection

Conwy is a town located in Wales, United Kingdom, and is situated on the north coast of Wales and is part of the historic county of Caernarfonshire. The town has a population of around 14,000 people and is known for its medieval walls which were built by Edward I in 1283-1287 as part of his campaign to conquer Wales. Conwy Castle, built by Edward I at the same time as the walls, stands proudly overlooking the River Conwy estuary. The castle was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1986 along with other castles and fortifications throughout North Wales. Other attractions include Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town House which was built between 1576-1585 and St Mary's Church which dates back to 15th century.
