Both have crimson shoes laced with white. The background is blue with a fleur-de-lise pattern in white.
On the same page is the sign of Taurus, within the same border, represented by a brown bull with green horns, on blue mountains (?). The background is orange with a white floral pattern.

This print showcases a page from the Hunterian Psalter, a remarkable manuscript dating back to the 12th century. The image, titled "MS Hunter 229 f. 2v April" depicts the month of April in all its glory. In the center of the historiated letter K, we see two figures beautifully rendered with pen and ink, and tempera on vellum. The first figure is adorned with long fair hair and wears a conical gold crown. Holding a white scepter in his right hand, he dons a close-fitting sleeved pink robe while delicately holding onto the long cuff of the second person's attire. The second figure wears an elegant toque-shaped hat and has her left cuff thrown over her shoulders. Both individuals sport crimson shoes laced with white. The background behind them is painted in serene blue hues embellished with intricate fleur-de-lis patterns in white, adding depth to this enchanting scene. Adjacent to this illustration lies another fascinating element: Taurus represented by a brown bull with vibrant green horns standing against blue mountains (?).
