Raquel Welch with Photo of Herself
(Original Caption) 7/27/1987-Los Angeles, California- Actress Raquel Welch speaks to members of the NBC Press Tour in front of a photo of herself as she looks in "Right to Die, " a movie for TV which will air this fall. In what some have called her most challenging role, Welch plays the real-life story of Emily Bauer, a psychologist who contracted Amytrophic Lateral Schlerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and waged a fight to the end to be allowed to die with dignity. In order to accurately portray the early stages of Bauer's illness, Welch wears little or no make-up and near the end of the movie, her make-up reflects the degenerative quality of the disease. Unleash your creativity and transform your space into a visual masterpiece.
