"Airstrip: A Historical Gateway to the Skies" In 1961, an ominous threat loomed over Kuwait as Iraq's aggression escalated. Amidst this tension, the Douglas DC-3S N1R soared through the skies, carrying hope and resilience. Meanwhile, in a different part of the world, the Fuji FA-200 G-BEUK gracefully touched down on an airstrip. Its presence symbolized connection and progress. The Curtiss Wright R5C-1 Commando trio of the US Marines stood proudly on another airstrip. These mighty aircrafts embodied strength and unity.
