Manneken Pis Postcard Album - Nun and Children

Embarrased nun: "Look to the left my children". The nun leads a group of schoolgirls (one snubbing her nose), holding an umbrella to shield their innocent eyes from the little boy statue. Manneken Pis (Dutch for little pee man'), also known in French as the petit Julien, is a very famous Brussels landmark. It is a small bronze fountain sculpture depicting a naked little boy urinating into the fountain's basin. This fold-out postcard album contains humourous sketches relating to the statue and individuals reactions on viewing it!

Mozart performs for Empress Maria Theresia, 1 October 1762, (1936). Mozart Vor Kaiserin Maria Theresia, 1 Oktober 1762'. The six-year-old Mozart plays for the Empress Maria Theresa of Austria at the imperial court in Vienna. Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was a child prodigy, and supposedly jumped on the empress's lap when he visited with his father and sister.
