The High Altar and Reredos Beyond The Choir of Westminster Abbey, captured in a mesmerizing photograph from 1935, transports us to an era steeped in reverence. Saint Michael, depicted with ethereal beauty in water-based paint on wood panel circa 1840, exudes celestial grace.
