His skillful brushstrokes captured the essence and beauty of his subjects, bringing them to life on canvas. One of Antropov's notable works is the portrait of Teimuraz II, King of Kakheti in 1761. With meticulous attention to detail, he depicted the regal features and dignified presence of this Georgian monarch. In another masterpiece, Antropov painted Countess Tatyana Alexeyevna Trubetskaya in 1761. The portrait exudes elegance and grace as he captures her refined features and delicate expression. Countess Yelizaveta Franzevna Buturliina became another subject immortalized by Antropov's talent in 1763. Through his artistry, he revealed her inner strength and sophistication with every stroke of his brush. It also portrayed Countess Agrippina Leontievna Apraxina during the end of the 1750s. Anna Ivanovna Kolycheva's portrait from 1768 demonstrates Antropov's ability to capture individuality through portraiture.
