Even centuries ago, Sheffield recognized its significance by etching it onto maps drawn by William Fairbank in 1771 and 1797. The town understood that every journey begins with crossing paths marked by faith or necessity. Amidst turmoil during WWI, James Clark depicted "The Great Sacrifice, " capturing not only soldiers' bravery but also their unwavering belief in something greater than themselves. British submarines silently patrolled beneath treacherous waters for half a century; their crews carried crosses close to their hearts as they protected freedom from unseen depths below. And finally, we find ourselves gazing upon Kranz -the Southern Cross- guiding travelers across vast oceans, reminding us that even in the darkest nights, hope shines through.
