Putre in Northern Chile showcases the foraging skills of Bare-faced Ground-doves as they search for sustenance on the ground during November. Their determination and resourcefulness are admirable traits indeed. Curacao offers stony grounds upon which our eyes meet with yet another Common Ground-dove walking elegantly across them. This resilient creature adapts effortlessly to diverse environments throughout its range. Perched atop barbed wire fences in Trinidad and Tobago stands an adult Ruddy Ground-dove showcasing its striking plumage. Its presence adds a touch of vibrancy to an otherwise ordinary scene.
