Knitted Comforts for Men on Land and Sea - front cover of a booklet published by J & J Baldwin's, yarn manufacturers of Halifax, and featuring inside a number of patterns for garments to be made for troops at the front and sailors at sea. Picture features two soldiers outside an Army tent wearing some rather bizarre but no doubt snug knitted head and chest gear. Date: 1914-1918
