Oakley, a name that echoes through time, holds within it the stories of courage and resilience. In the midst of World War I, Oakley's silhouette paintings captured the haunting images of soldiers fighting for their countries. The brushstrokes revealed wounded soldiers seeking solace in medical care, their pain etched on their faces. But Oakley's talent extended beyond war scenes.
