Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis)

Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis), can reach 28 m tall. Its sound is admired as much as the giant plants. Its shoots are edible; the culms, stems, are much used in building; the plant is the mostly widely used in the bamboo textile industry.
