In 1954, striped jumpers took center stage as they were knitted "on the cross, " showcasing intricate craftsmanship. Home knitting projects flourished during this era, offering instructions for reversible cardigans and jumpers in 1943. Designs for women's knitwear emerged alongside detailed instructions on how to create these garments at home. The year was 1943 when creativity intertwined with functionality.
