"Voices of Protest: Remonstrating through History" In the depths of The Famine in Russia, a haunting image emerges - a Priest remonstrating with Enraged Peasants. Their faces etched with despair and anger, this engraving captures the struggle for survival amidst unimaginable hardship. Catherine of Schwarzburg threatens the Duke of Alba vehemently – her actions serving as both defiance and remonstration against his oppressive rule. Argyll stands tall before King Charles II in an engraving that depicts power dynamics at play. With conviction burning bright within his eyes, Argyll fearlessly remonstrates, challenging the king's decisions and demanding justice.
