"Captivating Moments: A Glimpse into Royal Visits" In 1954, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip graced Australia with their presence, leaving an indelible mark on the nation's history. The North East region of England was filled with excitement as Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, embarked on a visit that would forever be etched in the hearts of its people on November 27th, 1979. St Mary's Hospital in Manchester welcomed royalty when Queen Elizabeth II paid a visit to its hallowed halls on June 23rd, 1971 – a day cherished by both patients and staff alike. Roundhay Park in Leeds witnessed grandeur as it was inaugurated by none other than Prince Arthur himself – an enchanting moment captured forever in an exquisite engraving. The arrival of the charismatic Prince Michael and Captain Eric Westropp brought delight to all who had the privilege of meeting them during their royal visit alongside Princess Michael of Kent.
