"From the Tropics to the Snow: A Journey on Skiis, 1964" Embarking on a thrilling adventure, we took flight above the clouds, leaving behind the warm embrace of the tropics. Our destination? The snow-covered wonderland that awaited us below. Equipped with state-of-the-art skiing equipment, we were ready to conquer the majestic slopes. As a group of passionate skiers, our spirits soared as we glided effortlessly through powdery trails and carved our way down exhilarating descents. One particular memory etched in our minds was an unforgettable alpine trip to Val Brembana. Despite facing treacherous conditions and unforeseen challenges, we persevered. The transport of wounded comrades to Bergamo showcased not only our determination but also our unwavering camaraderie. A camp dedicated solely to honing skiing virtuosity became a hub for aspiring athletes seeking perfection on snow-covered slopes – depicted beautifully in another captivating colour lithograph. Picturesque Swiss races showcased speed and skill while Italian sports victories celebrated triumphs achieved through sheer dedication and perseverance.
