Its challenging layout demanded precision and strategy from every player who dared to dream of lifting that coveted Claret Jug. 1997 saw Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, Scotland become a theater for greatness during four exhilarating days in July. As spectators watched with bated breath, champions emerged amidst fierce competition and unpredictable weather conditions. Muirfield Golf Links entered into folklore during the scorching summer days of July 1987 when it hosted The British Open.
