Labour Party election posters and speakers for Labour's series of five short television programmes in the run-up to the General Election of 8th October 1959 (which the Conservatives won). Poster slogans include Stop H-Bomb Poison Now, and Smash the Tory Swindle. Speakers include leader Hugh Gaitskell, treasurer Aneurin Bevan, Barbara Castle and Harold Wilson
