The Cup was won by Tottenham, the first non-league team to win the Cup since the league was instigated, in a replay by 3 goals to 1. The photograph shows the Sheffield United goalkeeper, William Fatty Foulke, standing over a Tottenham striker after a collision between the two of them. One of the largest men ever to play professional football, Foulke weighed 22 stone when he retired from football
