"The Captivating Melodies of a Trombone Player: A Journey Through Time" Step back in time to the 1950s as The Count Basie Orchestra takes center stage, with their trombone player Denis Williams mesmerizing the crowd with his soulful tunes. Fast forward to 1978, where an exhibition of photographs by Denis Williams captures the essence of his artistry at the Forum Theatre in Hatfield, Herts. His images transport us into a world filled with passion and musical brilliance. In 1984, Big Chief Russell Moore joins forces with Arvell Shaw and Barrett Deems for an unforgettable performance in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Their synchronized melodies on trombones create an enchanting harmony that resonates through every note. The year is now 2013 when Chris Barber graces us with his presence. With Alan John Ainsworth capturing this momentous occasion, we witness Barber's mastery of the trombone as he effortlessly captivates audiences worldwide. Bill Watrous takes center stage in 1982 at the Forum Theatre once again. His American charm combined with his exceptional talent leaves spectators spellbound as they are transported into a realm where music knows no boundaries. Lawrence Brown enchants listeners in 1962 with his jazz-infused melodies. Brian Foskett immortalizes this iconic moment as Brown's trombone becomes an extension of himself, breathing life into each sound produced. A legendary duo emerges on stage at Hammersmith Odeon in London during Louis Armstrong's concert in 1968. Tyree Glenn accompanies him on trombone, creating harmonies that reverberate through time itself - forever etched within Brian Foskett's lens. Moving closer to present day, Roger Marks steals hearts alongside The Pete Allen Band at Deanwood Park Golf Club in Newbury Berks just last month (October 2021). Marks' skillful playfulness brings joy to all who witness his trombone magic.
