Troupes have always been an integral part of entertainment and historical events. From Finnish gymnasts showcasing their incredible skills to the publicity generated by the whizz-bangs concert party during World War I, these groups captivate audiences with their talents. During WWI, The Varlets emerged as a prominent entertainment troupe, bringing joy and laughter to soldiers amidst the chaos of war. Similarly, Junot's troops traversing the mountains in northern Spain left an indelible mark on history through vivid engravings depicting their journey. J. W Jackson's Lancashire Lads and Jackson Girls garnered attention through enticing advertisements that promised unforgettable performances filled with music and dance. These troupes knew how to entertain audiences while creating lasting memories. Lastly, "Vers La Victoire. Armées et Ennemies" portrayed the spirit of triumph during wartime when troops fought valiantly against enemies for victory. This artwork symbolized unity among allies against common adversaries. From acrobatic feats to theatrical spectacles or military processions.
