Froebel Lake and Grove, Roehampton, West London - now part of Roehampton University. The Lake is named after Friedrich Froebel, who laid the foundation for modern education based on the recognition that children have unique needs and capabilities. Roehampton Teacher Training College (the forerunner of the University) was based on the Froebel model.
