The 14-18 Experience Museum was opened on 9 November 2013 and on that day a splendid bas relief of Australian miners digging underground was unveiled. It was donated by Ross J. Thomas and sculpted by Michael Meszaros. It shows one man lying on his back and digging by kicking his feet at the soil in front of him and two others removing the proceeds. Date: 2016
