The Blue Diadem, scientifically known as Hypolimnas salmacis (formerly Nymphalis salmacis), is depicted in both its ventral (under) and dorsal (upper) aspects. The Blue Diadem is a large and vibrant butterfly, with the male displaying a bright blue upper surface, while the female's wings are a more subdued brown. The ventral side of both sexes is adorned with intricate patterns and markings. The Redbase Jezebel, Delias pasithoe (formerly Pieris pasithoe), is depicted in its equally captivating form. The Redbase Jezebel is a medium-sized butterfly with distinctive red and black wings.
