The notorious ParisMadrid race of May 1903 was an early experiment in auto racing, organized by the Automobile Club de France and the Spanish Automobile Club, Automovil Club Espanol. It seems likely this card was in direct relation to this event (posted in June, 1903), which was canceled (at Bordeaux) due to a number of accidents (and fatalities). Date: 1903
