Philippa of Hainault (1314?-1369), Queen of Edward III of England, is depicted in this beautiful 15th-century portrait. Born in Hainault, modern-day Belgium, Philippa was the eldest daughter of Count Guy of Flanders and his wife, Marguerite of Artois.
