The oldest parts of the church are from around 1200. In the beginning of the 16th century the church was enlarged.The size and position of the original church however are easily seen at th gables (from the outside). The church contains several medieval objects, e.g. a triumphal crucifix from around 1400 and some sculptures from the 16th century
