Later to Little Rock AFB, AR from 13 August 1960.Finally Scrapped on 16 Aug 1977 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Date: circa 1958

This image captures the B-58 Hustler during its climatic testing at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, which took place in 1958. The Convair B-58 Hustler was an advanced, supersonic bomber designed for long-range strategic bombing missions. The Convair YB-58A-1-CF Hustler 55-670 underwent modifications in May 1960, transforming it into a trainer variant, designated TB-58A. It was then assigned to the 43rd Bombardment Wing at Carswell Air Force Base. Later in August 1960, the TB-58A was transferred to Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas. Eventually, on August 16, 1977, this historic aircraft was scrapped at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The Convair B-58 Hustler was a significant milestone in aviation history, representing the United States' commitment to developing advanced supersonic bomber technology. This photograph serves as a testament to the aircraft's rich history and its role in the development of military aviation.
